About NRIPC
From transport research to a multi-sector resilience platform.
NRIPC builds on decades of commitment to Nepal's transport and infrastructure sector. Its institutional journey began around the Master's program in Transportation Engineering at Nepal Engineering College (NEC) and the Nepal Transportation and Development Research Centre (NTDRC).
As infrastructure challenges expanded to include climate risk, disasters, water, tourism, spatial development and institutional resilience, NTDRC evolved into the Nepal Resilient Infrastructure Promotion Centre (NRIPC).
Today, NRIPC brings research, professional practice, policy dialogue, knowledge sharing and capacity development together to support infrastructure that is technically sound, economically viable, socially inclusive and environmentally responsible.
